The Gordie Howe International Bridge, connecting Ontario and Michigan, is set to bridge its final 11-meters gap by the end of June.

About the bridge: 2.5-kilometre bridge will soon span the Detroit River, enhancing the flow of goods and people.

The $6.4-billion project, funded entirely by Canada, will double the region's cross-border traffic capacity with six lanes.

Apple is reportedly introducing a standalone password manager app called Passwords at its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference.

The features:

  • The app will sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, and Windows PCs.

  • Generate and store passwords, similar to LastPass and 1Password.

  • It will include autofill for usernames and passwords, and creating authentication codes.

Robinhood is set to enhance its cryptocurrency presence by acquiring global crypto exchange Bitstamp for $200 million, with the deal expected to close in the first half of 2025.

Background: Bitstamp, founded in 2011 and one of the oldest crypto exchanges, will bolster Robinhood's crypto and international expansion.

The big picture: Robinhood launched stock trading in the UK last November and crypto trading in the EU soon after.

Robinhoodโ€™s Q1 2024 report shows a 16% increase in monthly active users and a 40% revenue rise to $618 million, with crypto income up by 232%.
